Chanukah Celebrations

Lighting of the Minorah in Stanmore today at 5:30pm by Current Mayor of Harrow - Cllr Nana Asante, Bob Blackman MP, Cllr Marilyn Ashton, Rabbi Lew, Cllr Manji Kara, Cllr Amir Moshenson & Cllr Stephen Greek.

The event was supported by many of the local Jewish community.

We run on Saturdays during term time offering drama, singing and dance classes
for children aged 4-18, covering Stanmore, Harrow Weald and surrounding areas.

Online registration for the Bushy Park 10km will close on Tuesday 26th Feb at midday

The Bushy Park 10k starts at 10.30am, register at Diana Car Park between 9.30 and 10.15am

Confirmation email will be sent out on Wednesday.

The course is 2 laps around Bushy Park.

Torch Bearer Joanna Hyams Sets off From Harrow

The Crowds gathered and loved every minute as the Torch made its way from Harrow Museum at Headstone Manor.


The Olympic flame started its journey at the historic Headstone Manor before traveling through Wealdstone, Harrow Town Centre and over Harrow-on-the-Hill.

09.17am – The flame was lit and started from Headstone Manor to the sound of a trumpet fanfare. Vaughan school performed a specially created dance piece, and there was a medieval combat demonstrations.

Access to Headstone Manor was strictly by invitation only. Once out of the museum the flame did a lap of the Bessborough cricket ground before setting off down Pinner View and along Headstone Drive.
